- Nitrous oxide sedation, sometimes referred to by our patients as laughing gas, is one of the most popular forms of dental sedation. It is very effective at helping our team to ease one’s anxiety and can make dental procedures much more comfortable. Nitrous oxide is a unique gas inhaled through a nasal mask during your procedure and wears off fast. This allows you to drive yourself back home or back to work after your appointment time.
- General anesthesia sedation is the most effective and strongest type of dental sedation available. It is often used for patients who experience severe anxiety or have a fear of needles. The medication is administered through a small needle in your hand or arm and helps you to feel completely relaxed during your procedure. You will need someone to drive you to your home after your appointment since the effects of anesthesia can last for several hours. Please note we do hire a third party for this service.
